Andaman & Nicobar Administration Lower Grade Clerk Written Test Syllabus/ Exam Pattern

Andaman and Nicobar Administration has finally decided to conduct the written examination for Lower Grade Clerk Post. The test will be conduct for 302 Post. Those friends who are successfully registered for this test can check the scheme of examination through information provided below. The candidate must work hard to qualify in the exam. Andaman & Nicobar Administration
The Examination will consist of two parts :-
  • Part 1. : Written Examination 
  • Part 2. : Typewriting Speed Test
Part 1- Written Examination : The subjects of the examination, the time allowed, the maximum marks for each subjects will be as follows :-
1. General Intelligence - 50 Question - 50 marks
2. English Language - 50 Question - 50 marks
3. General Awareness - 50 Question - 50 marks
4. Numerical Aptitude - 50 Question - 50 marks
Time Period - 2 hour

Syllabus :-
i) General Awareness :- It would include questions of both verbal and non verbal type. The test will include questions on analogies, similarities and difference, space visualization, problem solving analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concept, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non verbal series etc. The test will also include question designed to test the candidate's abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, and other analytical functions.
ii) English Language :- Questions in this test will set to assess the knowledge of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms etc. There may also be questions on comprehension of a passage.
iii) General Awareness :- Questions will be designed to test the ability of candidates, general awareness of the environment around him & its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test the knowledge of current events, observation/experience & elementary knowledge of computer.
iv) Numerical Aptitude - Question will be designed to test the ability of arithmetical computation of whole number, decimal & fraction & relation between the numbers.
